Nationally, less than 3 percent of domestic violence victims press charges against their abuser. The Advocacy Program at My Sister’s House assists those victims who consider either pressing charges or filing for an Order of Protection.

Education & TRAINING

The Education and Training Program is committed to providing both education and support to churches, government agencies, schools, civic groups and more! Contact us for your training needs!

For almost 40 years, My Sisters House Inc. has been providing safe shelter to victims of domestic violence and their children throughout the tri-county area. Please call our crisis line to see if you are eligible.

Family Support Program

The Family Support Program at My Sister’s House was developed to better assist the parents and children who are victims of domestic violence. The program provides educational and therapeutic activities for children ages four to 17 years old who are currently residing in our shelter, as well as parenting resources for adults.

We provide group counseling and individual therapy sessions for adults and children who are currently residing in our emergency shelter.  If you need a referral to a private therapist, we can assist with that as well.

We offer clinical support groups to victims and survivors of domestic violence in all three counties. You do NOT need to be a resident in our shelter to receive this free service. Click below to find the location of a support group near you.
