1 POWERFUL WEEK, 3 POWERFUL WAYS TO
SPEAK UP, SOUTH CAROLINA
THIS OCTOBER:
SUSC 2021:
BREAKING BARRIERS

This year, we honor and celebrate 40 years of My Sister's House breaking barriers for domestic violence survivors in our Lowcountry community.
As we reflect on our historic impact, we look toward the next forty years with strength, focus, and determination to give more victims an accessible path to survival.
So please, join us in speaking up, South Carolina. Speak up against domestic violence, speak up for victims, and speak up for change. Our community needs your voice.
THE EVENTS
Part 1:
Tuesday, October 5th
Part 2:
Tuesday, October 19th
Join us for a dynamic discussion led by an expert panel of victim service providers and advocates, designed to unearth innovative ways in which we can continue breaking barriers to survival for more Lowcountry victims.

CANCELED
While we are excitedly planning for Speak Up South Carolina, we cannot ignore the increasing concerns surrounding COVID-19 and the spread of variants. For this reason, we have had to make some tough decisions about this year's events. We are sad to inform you that The My Sister's House Annual Luncheon has been canceled.

Saturday, October 23rd
Our inaugural 5k Run and Memorial Mile Walk, at beautiful Wannamaker Park, brings together survivors, staff, and community for a celebratory, inclusive, family-friendly event.
Whether you're walking with friends, competing in the 5k, or bringing your best team spirit, 5 to Survive has something for everyone.
