Bilingual Adult Therapist/Aftercare Specialist

Part-time position available for licensed therapist who is fluent in Spanish and English. Ten hours per week. Coordinate therapeutic counseling services for clients and former clients.  Conduct individual client assessments on issues related to domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health issues.  Provide individual and group therapy to adult clients in shelter.   Provide intake, crisis intervention, and victim advocacy as needed.  Arrange therapeutic aftercare services for departing clients.  Collect program data and prepare grant reports.  Facilitate in-service trainings and staff education on mental health issues.  

Part-time position, two shifts per week totaling 10 hours.     

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Graduate degree in counseling, psychology, social work or closely related field
• LPC, LISW, LMSW, or Ph.D
• Clinical experience with victims of domestic violence and PTSD
• Able to coordinate personal/professional commitments in order to consistently and reliably meet the schedule required, which includes evening shifts (not overnight).
